Man pages for kf5 applications are installed in $KF5_PREFIX/share/man. This directory is not in MANPATH.

There are three possibilities:

  • change the installation instructions so that MAN_INSTALL_DIR is /usr/share/man (to be tested)
  • add $KF5_PREFIX/share/man to MANPATH (and maybe update man_db.conf) in KDE Frameworks 5 Pre-installation Configuration

I'd lean to use the second one (as is done in LXQt for example)
