LFS-6 build fails on X86_64

Greetings!...
6.0 fails on the second pass build of gcc(3.4.1) in Chapter 5, on
AMD 64bit Athlon and Sempron CPUs. Whether this effects intel based 64bit flipflops, I don't know...(I've never bought/owned one..ever..)
If you rebuild the LFS-6
bootcd (this is how I went at it), and take gcc-3.4.1 => 3.4.3 (and grab patches et_al) and then try again, it seems to be a fix.
This...is not over...(it never is with gcc ;)

The current versions of the book only target x86 machines although work is being carried out to get support included for other architectures (x86_64, mips, ppc, etc.). Please address any questions or observations regarding x86_64 builds to the lfs-hackers mailing list.
