When the howto discribes the compiling of texinfo, it says you have to patch it. But
there is no patch included

This patch is only needed if gcc-3.0 is used. Therefore it's no longer needed. I think on the other hand that as it's mentioned in 3.0-pre4 it should be on shadowfax ;-) I've therefore put it back in the conglomoration directory for now to avoid all the questions which are coming up about it on the lfs lists.
