"Next we will remove the old .so files in the /lib directory and relink them into /usr/lib:"
2 things.
- How "old" can this file be? It was just put there in the preceding
instruction. :-) I suggest removing this word.
- The sentence uses plural tense, but only one file is being changed.
I suggest s/files/file/ and s/them/it/
