using gawk-3.1.4 result in problems building libgpg-error & pth

Description
I encoutered an error when I build libgpg-error-1.1, awk produces an output file (mkerrcodes.h) with several errors, the make process then stops because of errors. The secound error occours building the GNU portable threads library, errors like "first use in this function.." Both errors disappear after installing gawk-3.1.5

This is a known issue (one of many) to do with gawk-3.1.4's poor handling of UTF-8 locales. gawk-3.1.5 fixes most of these, but introduces a couple more. See bug 303 for more details. Marking as invalid as we already mention that UTF-8 locales aren't fully supported and we know that gawk-3.1.5/gawk-3.1.6 will fix the problem.
