ok. policy decision needed.
For the descriptions, IMO, we should mention each executable thing which comes which each package. At the moment we don't. This would involve including things list the bashbug and glibc-bug scripts. I'm quite happy (and ready) to add these but I want to check that it's ok with you lot first.

all descriptions are now up-to-date in the style agreed on lfs-book so the descriptions now list *all* programs and *all* libraries installed by each package (I hope...)
