Description

As noted in the ticket #2207, the mandir patch for Vim could possibly be dropped, and replaced by a sed or a ./configure parameter.

I'm opening this ticket so that it can be determined which direction to take and so that the issue is not forgotten.

I'm not sure I understand what is needed here. It appears that it is as easy as dropping the patch from the Vim installation in Chapter 6 and changing 'make' to 'make MANDIR=/usr/share/man' with the added explanation.

If that is all it is, the change can be made very quickly and I'll be glad to do it. However, I'd like confirmation first.

Removed unnecessary mandir patch. Updated vim package contents.
