Description: modified (diff)

/etc/modprobe.conf seems to be mentioned in three places:

  • chapter07/udev.xml (2 places)
  • chapter08/kernel.xml (9 places)
  • udev-config/doc/80-drivers.txt

Owner: changed from lfs-book@… to Bryan Kadzban

That file in udev-config/doc/ is gone now.

I'm fixing the rest.

Should be fixed in r9167. The only thing that refers to modprobe.conf now is the manpage reference. I could change that to modprobe.d(5), except that this manpage is invalidly-formatted: it tries to source modprobe.conf.5, not man5/modprobe.conf.5, so man-db complains.

I'd file a bug, except the module-init-tools bugzilla appears to be dumping out a perl script instead of interpreting it. Hmm. :-)
