http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/read.html links on a separate errata page for the Development LFS which says, that there is no errata. Why? Putting this information direct on http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/read.html (like the BLFS page did) would be more meaningful I think ...

That page currently reads:

As a result of bugs and security warnings, please be sure to read the errata page for any modifications needed to the LFS build.}}} I'd suggest simply changing it to: {{{ This is the LFS Book in its current development state. Whilst it may provide more features and updated upstream packages than the stable book, it is more prone to bugs and security vulnerabilities that have not yet been caught. Use with care. }}} The link to the errata can then be removed; errata for -dev are highlighted on lfs-dev or in Trac, and the book updated as appropriate. I'll wait until other devs
