Description
The problem occurred when I tried the instructions in section 5.5.1. Installation of Cross GCC.
Moreover, I think the section misses instructions on unzipping gcc-4.5.1 before talking about MPFR, GMP and MPC.
I am following LFS book stable version 6.7.

Building GCC 4.5.1 Pass-1 went through just fine after moving gmp, mpfr and mpc under gcc-4.5.1.
This ticket can be closed. But including a couple of sentences before the tar -xjf commands for gmp, mpc and mpfr will make it very clear.
Pardon me for prematurely raising it.
