Description
Before compiling GCC in step 6.17 you apply 'gcc-4.6.1-locale-1.patch'. It is not listed in the required patches nor in the wget-list.
It is listed in LFS 7.0, both the wget-list and the required patches list. It can be downloaded from both the link available at LFS 7.0 and the link on patches page.

I just noticed that the versions did not match and I assumed that the issue was fixed in 4.6.2. After reloading it the instructions for the patch disappeared so I am guessing that the page was actually cached. (Thank you for the quick response.)

Are you looking at a cached page, by any chance? I don't see that patch mentioned, but note that LFS-7.1 was released recently, so you may have got a slightly older version of that page. Note that LFS-7.1 used GCC-4.6.2 and LFS-7.0 uses GCC-4.6.1.
