I would like to see it with all of shadow utils like useradd, userdel, passwd, chage, etc. They are on a good way integrating them as I see. Also, I would rather disable sulogin at sysvinit page instead of util-linux. I guess util-linux's one will be better maintained in the future, and folks seem to give up on sysvinit on linux these days. And I like when they added "eject" program there. We can ditch it from BLFS now.

I didn't say that you use it in LFS, I just say that I would like to see the upstream package with mentioned utilities.

This probably will not make it into 7.2. The mailing list says there will be a -rc2 release so the stable util-linux will be after the LFS release.

2.22 final is now out. Release announcement at http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/1209.0/00878.html.
Looks like we will need:
./configure --disable-login --disable-sulogin --disable-su
We still need the sed for adjtime
