Trying to prepare Glibc for compilation (5.7.1. Installation of Glibc) and getting error: ... *Check the INSTALL file for required version. ... checking for -z relro option... no configure: error: linker with -z relro support required

This type of issue needs to be discussed on lfs-support. You didn't ensure the host system requirements were met.
