Description
On the page that describes creating various files and symlinks just after chrooting, there are instructions to create several files in /var/log. These are no longer needed as systemd creates /var/log/{btmp,wtmp} itself, and doesn't use lastlog at all.

For the time being, I'd like to close this ticket. The files are indeed created at the boot, but it doesn't hurt that they are created before that. I'd like to stay as close to main lfs branch as possible.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Neither of them are init system specific files. lastlog is still being used here, and it doesn't hurt that all of them are created during the build process.
