"make pdf" missing text at Host System Requirements

On the pdf book, at the Prologue, page 17, just before the version-check.sh script, some text is missing.

" To see whether your host system has all the appropriate versions, and the ability to compile programs, run the following: "

It is present at the nochunks and the html, but not at the pdf.

I found this when making the grammatical review of the Brazilian portuguese translation, and notice the same behavior at the orginal book.

The text was there, but it was covered up by the script during the pdf generation. Fixed by splitting the script in two.
