What to do with "Which Platform" section

Description

Right now, we have 1 comment in the book (AFAIK) regarding installation instructions for alternative platforms (during kernel installation). Yet, "which platform" acts like the book provides more help in this area. We should either dump this section or provide more information (ex: alternative boot loaders).
