Decided we don't want to go there. We make quite a few symlinks sh->bash vim->vi and there are more like this. When you start doing this, you can't finish. And what if people actually install 'vi' (say before vim, or you reinstall after vi is installed) the man pages will be messed up in that 'vi' doesn't give the real vi man page.
