Now 5.18.14, this contains the RETBleed mitigations for AMD (excavator, zen1 and zen2) and intel (Skylake to Coffee Lake). I'm still reviewing the impact on some of my machines, but it appears that i/o per second will be reduced. There was a post yesterday on lkml providing figures using variations of the in-development retbleed=stuff mitigation, apparently using FIO https://fio.readthedocs.io/en/latest/fio_doc.html. I've never come across that tool, not yet sure how to use it.
