configure spits a warning: 

checking for libmpdec >= 2.5.0... no
configure: WARNING: no system libmpdec found; falling back to bundled 
libmpdec (deprecated and scheduled for removal in Python 3.16)

Thus we'll need adding mpdecimal (​https://www.bytereef.org/mpdecimal/) into the book, sooner or later.

We will hold off on adding mpdecimal to the book until Python 3.16.
