Description
Should we move MySQL and PostgreSQL sockets from /tmp to /var/run? See http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/blfs-dev/2004-October/007936.html for discussion.

Closed prematurely. Still need to address PostgreSQL and ALSA. But there really should have been three bugs for this bug. Leaving for now.

Investigation shows that socket location is not an issue. Other major applications such as KDE and X have sockets in /tmp too.
