Updated openldap bootscripts
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
When I originally created the openldap bootscripts, I include checks for the pid, and if the server was running, it acted accordingly. However, after review by the bootscript team, it was determined that the checks were not required.
I now place an entry in /etc/rc.d/init.d/cleanfs to clean the stale files from /srv/ldap/run at boot time. I don't really see issues with LDAP crashing, causing me to restart with stale files, so the cleanfs thing works for me as the only time I would have stale files in /srv/ldap/run is if the machine rebooted, or had some other type of failure, causing an unclean shutdown.
