Description ¶
In chapter 3, section Creating a Custom Boot Device, there is a link to the LFS boot-cdrom. This link points to ftp://ftp.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs-boot-cd, this should be ftp://ftp.linuxfromscratch.org/pub/linux/lfs-livecd/.

The cd isn't part of the ftp mirroring that makes ftp.linuxfromscratch.org, but is only mirrored by a few, see http://linuxfromscratch.org/~jhuntwork/livecd/ It could be added to it i guess, it's not a big overhead.
