Description ¶
In order to run Samba-3.0.11 Daemon to share files, several directories must be created. The commands to do this are:
mkdir /var/log/samba && mkdir -p /usr/local/samba/var
I also created a user nobody with a password on my system to accomodate for guests, but haven't check the guests yet. If guests are turned off, I'm guessing all you have to do is create these directories.

The log directory is created automatically and the other mentioned directory is simply not necessary.
