Transcode released an updated version, but it still does not provide support for the libmpeg3 update. They have, however, fixed it in CVS, so I pulled out the necessary changes and created a Transcode patch.
It should now be a trivial task to update the libmpeg3 package. We still need the install patch, and we'll also make the change that Dave suggested a part of that patch (we probably should rename the patch to something like makefile_update though, to properly reflect it is not just an install patch).

Updated BLFS to LibMPEG3-1.7. Also updated the patch to include the fix from David.
both our current version or the new version require a Makefile sed, for our newer make.
