Description ¶
Version increment to 1.70.1
http://sourceforge.net/projects/docbook
This package should not be updated until Manuel has checked out these stylesheets and is ready to update the LFS book. This update will probably (most likely) be deferred until after LFS-6.2 and BLFS-6.2 has been released.

The new LFS-XSL Stylesheets don't depend on a stable DocBook-XSL version. They include the required files from the DocBook-XSL development tree.
Thus the book DocBook-XSL page can be updated to the latest stable version released, that right now is 1.71.1.

Summary: | DocBook XSL Stylesheets-1.70.1 → DocBook XSL Stylesheets-1.71.1 |
Updated BLFS to DocBook XSL Stylesheets-1.71.1.
This should not affect {B,C,H}LFS as those projects now carry the required stylesheets in the SVN tree.

Tested against current LFS-SVN I found this issues:

That issues aren't very hard to solve, but this XSL version includes a lot of new output customization params, most notably for FO, that may replace some of our current hacks. I would to rewritte our stylesheets based on 1.70.1, making first a qick fix to can update ASAP the package in the BLFS pages.
Due that we are very close to LFS and CLFS releases there is no time to me to migrate it to this new XSL version. Thus IMHO, BLFS-6.2 should be released also with 1.69.1.
