Description
new version
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/vte/0.14/
This is in the gnome-desktop hierarchy, but has no gnome dependencies.
Could/should be moved to 26. X Libraries.
new version works OK with BLFS-6.2 gtk and xml versions.
The suggestion is made for possible inclusion of http://pleyades.net/david/sakura.php
Sakura as a vte based xterm replAcement, seemingly better than xterm and much faster than gnome-terminal.
Thoughts developers?
