Description
I've attached a patch with some updates to the Acknowledgments and Credits pages, taking into account the changed chapter #'s for KDE and GNOME instructions and one more lingering mention of GNOME 1.4
Also, I was about to submit a bunch of corrections for "acknowledgments" listed for packages no longer in the book, including the /etc/inputrc and Package Management sections which have been moved into LFS, but I wasn't sure how those are handled. Some packages are just no longer mentioned on that page, some are still there despite not appearing in the book, and some are commented out. What should be done here?

The patch has been applied.
Will review the other comments on the ticket and do whatever is best before closing the ticket.

I suppose we need to remove the packages from the ack. page that are no longer in BLFS.
I'm going to close the ticket after doing that. If someone wants to do the research of what packages are not mentioned in the ack page and who added them, feel free to. But that is a lot of work.
