nfs-utils-1.1.1 and different home page

Reported by: ken@… Owned by: thomas
Priority: normal Milestone: 6.3
Component: BOOK Version: SVN
Severity: normal Keywords:

Now at I've marked this for 7.0 because util-linux-ng needs at least version 1.1.0 to be able to mount nfs, and we have a ticket for it in lfs marked for 7.0. Works for me with util-linux-ng-2.13, but not tested against lfs-6.3.

Getting this in to 6.3 might be a good idea, now that util-linux-ng is in LFS. It does build, and work, for me with LFS-6.3, but I don't seem to be able to update the Milestone.

Since nfs-utils require portmap as a runtime dep and portmap requires tcp-wrappers I think the --with-tcp-wrappers option should not only be mentioned in the explanations as an option but should be put in the configure configure-commandline as a standard install-option

also, since nfs-utils contains the server and client part for nfs I think a page for the client-part in basic networking should be made to - like for the ssh client or such

Just in case you may wonder where the size diff comes from:

SF: nfs-utils-1.1.2.tar.gz 14-Mar-2008 797386 nfs-utils-1.1.2.tar.gz 20-Mar-2008 874518

At they added config.{log, status} as well as a libtool script. All other sources are identical.
