Description ¶
Latest version: 1.14
It fixes broken (locale-releated) files, and it is also mentioned on both the "Locale Releated Issues" and the Unzip page. So, why not include this in BLFS?

Replying to willimm:
Very simple package to build. Just run:
make make PREFIX=/usr installAnd presto! You're done.
What are the dependencies? Even if they are only the ones in LFS that we assume by default, it still needs to be checked. How many SBUs? Does it play nice with every other package that may find it? Are there other issues? Putting something in the book for the book for the first time is never done "presto".

convmv is a Perl script, thrus, it just needs perl (as far as I know.). make makes a gzip'd man page, BTW.
