Do we need to eliminate the need for the bin user like we did in cdtools.
As Larry has mentioned, the user 'bin' needs to be created for the man pages to be installed. I just quickly hacked up Makefile and changed the user and group to root:root, which worked fine. Also, the sed of the Makefile.in is not needed here. Added --prefix=/usr did exactly that, with less hassle. Running CVS lfs-20020530... Also, wouldn't it make more sense to actually link to ftp://ftp.ee.lbl.gov/traceroute-1.4a12.tar.gz instead of just traceroute.tar.gz? Even thou that's a symbolic link, if it ever gets updated, we would be running a newer version, not exactly best, me thinks.

Fixed up traceroute instructions.

The version is correct -- I checked last night.
