FTP works, but there is a very large delay and yesterday was timing out. Perhaps should be removed.

I intend to commit the HTTP fixes not before an interval of 3 hours.

Please, any objections?

Cannot find a replacement for the *xcb* URLs. They will remain broken, for now.

Partially fixed at r15911.

HTTP URL's are working fine with wget and in Firefox. ftp gives connection refused. HTTPS Everywhere will break most freedesktop.org pages since wiki.fd.o switched to https, but nothing else did.

As you all might have seen, the scripts ran fine (minor individual errors), which mean that the links are not hanging any more, so I'm closing this ticket as fixed.
