Summary: | sync book with website (mailinglists, mirrors) → sync book with website - mirror, acknowledgements |
Ian Cooper (of the us2 mirror) has been added to website's acknowledgement. Sync book's version.
Add us2 to the HTTP mirror list (not FTP)

maybe we should put in "mca for providing us with ridiculously complicated sed thingies"
:-)

When adding us2.lfs.org to the list I noticed two things: firstly, the new us2 mirror didn't seem to be available, secondly all of the book's http urls were wrong after the recent site change. I've changed all of the URLs but I've commented out the us2 entry (which I just added) until Gerard can confirm that the mirror is up and working.

The server's down right now yes, but I did get the rsync confirmations every day during the last several days. I think it's just a temp. glitch, so just add the mirror. If it stays down for another day or so, then we'll comment it out in the book, while at the same time disabling the link on the website.
I'll endevour to keep the website and book synced with the info it shares.
