I checked and the make LDLIBS=-lncurses method seems to work. the accompanying patch changes the chapter6/procinfo-inst.xml and chapter6/procinfo-exp.xml files to the new method and also updates the changelog. the dependency info may also need to be changed as I don't *think* sed is needed to build it any more (I grepped though the procinfo-18/ source dir and it isn't mentioned)
