Description
The patch used in the DB instructions for the 6.2 pre-release does not conform with the guidelines set forth by the patches project. The patch uses -Np0 syntax to apply, yet the project guidelines state that LFS-created patches should use -Np1.
A new patch must be created.

Bruce, why are you not fixing this? It's an obvious bug as the patch requires different instructions than every other one we use in the book, and goes against the conventions established by the patches project (and therefore shouldn't have even been committed to the patches repository).

Noting that this bug was re-opened, there are additions to it. There are now 4 patches upstream that need to be applied to the BDB instructions. The last two need to be added to LFS-6.2 errata.
This bug is applicable to trunk now.

This is *not* fixed in 6.2 yet as is noted in the most recent post to this bug. There are two more additional patches that need to be mentioned in the errate before this bug can be considered "fixed".
Of course, the 4 patches must be identified in trunk, as well.

Really fixed now in 6.2 branch. Again, this needs to get into trunk. I'll do that as soon as we can get the release done. See r7756.
I'll close the ticket after I get it into trunk.

I rediffed the patch.
