Texinfo4.5 give error while making

Overview: Texinfo4.2, 4.3, and 4.5 gave the same errors while makeing

Steps to reproduce: executed the following command in the directory:

LDFLAGS=-static ./configure --prefix=$LFS/static --disable-nls \ && make \ && make install

build date:2003-03-15 Platform: Mandrake Linux 8.1 on intel pc.

Additional Information: The configure script reported no errors. The last few lines of the make command:

Don't think it is relevant anymore since we build everything dynamically.

I think tushar is correct - I haven't seen this one come up in CVS over the last few months.
