Description
Hi,
I have just installed LFS on my system and had a problem with the swap partition. I found that I had not fun mkswap on it. This was not mentioned in the book and I think it would be a good idea if it was mentioned, when the fstab file is create.

The command mkswap to initialize the swap partition is explained in Chapter 3 (Creating a file system on the new partition). See the URI <http://linuxfromscratch.org/view/cvs/chapter03/creatingfs.html>.
Marking bug invalid.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Can someone mark this as invalid/wontfix please? mkswap is part of util-linux and therefore should be available on a correctly installed LFS system. Jesse, would it be possible for you to "up" my bugzilla privileges in order to deal with things like this (and the package updates) and therefore stop bugging you guys all the time?
Thanks,
Matt.
