This is not a great idea and I don't see folks rushing in to start a new project. I dl'd the pkg and took a peek. There is all sorts of stuff in there, and not all appropriate. Plenty of BSD specific stuff. Grepping for "GNU" wasn't particularly enlightening. In short, there is not much value here.
We all agree that man pages suck. We all agree that GNU prefers info to man pages. We currently use Linux man pages maintained by Andries E. Brouwer (aeb@…). If anything was to happen, then the someone could look at the openbsd pages and start sending patches to AEB, but quite frankly, I feel this is not for LFS to undertake. We don't have the time, nor the man-power, nor the expertise.
