Description
The current book's structure is inappropriate for dealing with newbies. Also it should present a clear hierarchy on preferred information channels. See e.g. Alex Groenewoud's proposed structure at http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/lfs-dev/2002/02/0497.html and the thread that initiated this bug: http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/lfs-dev/2003/06/0116.html

Agreed, I think everyone's in favour of the changes made. Closing.
Also consider the structure presented at http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/lfs-dev/2003/06/0353.html which was approved by Gerard at http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/lfs-dev/2003/07/0149.html
