#546 closed enhancement (wontfix)

"Configuring system components": better loadkeys command line

Reported by: lizardo@… Owned by: lfs-book@…
Priority: high Milestone:
Component: Book Version: CVS
Severity: minor Keywords:

Description

The line loadkeys -m /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/defkeymap.map.gz > \

/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/drivers/char/defkeymap.c

can be resumed to loadkeys -d -m > /usr/src/linux-2.4.20/drivers/char/defkeymap.c because the "-d" option loads the default keymap file.

We don't want to depend on default keymap - this has been discussed numerous times on the ML's, and is always rejected.
