man displays control characters wrong on PC's

Description
In order for man to display control characters correctly on my installation, man.conf had to have less's -r option added to the "PAGER" variable.
This might be better added to the man-hints!

Already fixed. Please take a look at the CVS version of the book where all our development takes place.
